Are you getting a message/error when trying to play the audio stream, that says "403 FORBIDDEN", and can't listen to UB?

Well, I'm here to tell you it's either because you:

• Did not follow directions/pay attention to the BOLD warning when you signed up
• You have stream-ripping capable software which tried to tune into our station (EVEN IF YOU DID NOT TRY TO RIP.. WHOOPS, GOT YA!)
• You have bad karma, and this is a sign.

In either case, that is most unfortunate.



However, I am tired of getting e-mail excuses as to why people got banned on our station. I *know* why you got banned, because I am the one who maintains the technology that does it to you. You also should have taken more seriously, the agreement you entered into when you signed up as a user; the one that states:


"I will not record any UnitedBreaks.FM broadcast. (SEE DESCRIPTION!)", which you have to type "YES" into, in order to become a member.


If you have been around before we added that to the enrollment process, then you should certainly have seen/heard all of the commotion by now, and know better than to try and get away with that here.



We are not YouTube, or some big freebie website that you can go running Stream Ripper or Firefox-ripping-plugins on all day, to build up your free music collection. I either pay for all of the music that gets aired on this station, it is given to me by the original person who did it, or it is played by DJs who have probably accrued it in a similar manner.


With that being said, sorry if "Foobar" is your favorite player.. cause it ain't gonna last 30 seconds on our station before your whole subnet gets permanently etched into the DENY table of our firewall.




Either you AND the people on your network use either iTunes, windows media player, or Winamp.. Or, you take your chances. Either way, this will be the last warning you will get from me regarding the matter, and I will no longer honor requests from non-subscribers who wish to be removed from the ban list.
